115 racers competed in a two-race Giant Slalom competition at the HARTLAUER MEMORIAL SOUTH SERIES GS at Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Racers took on a course with a 160.0m (525ft) vertical drop and 27 gates through falling snow with temperatures around 29°F on packed powder. Gates were flying and racers were charging—what a day at Snowbird!


## Podium


🥇 **Probert, Soelden** (ARC) — 1:15.58

Starting with bib 80, Soelden upset several top-seeded racers to claim 1st place.

This is Soelden's first win.


🥈 **Stiegemeier, Stellan** (PCSS) — 1:16.36

Coming from bib 92, Stellan charged to 2nd place.

This is his 2nd top-3 finish this season.


🥉 **Saenz, Leo** (ARC) — 1:17.18

This is his 2nd top-3 finish this season.


Park City Ski and Snowboard had a strong showing with 5 athletes in the top 20: Stiegemeier, Stellan (2nd), Judy, Liam (11th), Rohbock, Sawyer (12th), Decker, Wels (13th), and Compain, Mateo (19th).

**Jack Donahue** finished 4th of 99 overall. He is no stranger to the top 10—this is his 2nd top-10 finish this season. Jack has been hitting his stride, improving across 3 consecutive races from the top 25% to 14% to 4% of the field in his age group.

**Austin Simpson** finished 41st of 99 overall. Austin has been building momentum, improving across 3 consecutive races from the top 49% to 8% to 7% of the field in his age group.

**Rafael White** finished 92nd of 99 overall. Rafael has been improving across 3 consecutive races from the top 96% to 71% to 66% of the field in his age group.
